Col'Cacchio Pizzeria's 30th anniversary

November 2022 is a month to celebrate… because it is Col'Cacchio Pizzeria's 30th anniversary! It’s with great pride and joy that restaurateur-and-entrepreneur-duo, Kinga Baranowska and Michael Terespolsky have reached this milestone.

The opening of their new restaurant in Mauritius together with the renovation of the very first Col’Cacchio Pizzeria in Foreshore, Cape Town, is the cherry on top of thirty years of excellence.

 

The Col’Cacchio Pizzeria franchise is known for being one of South Africa’s favourite family restaurants all whilst becoming an internationally recognised brand. Since being established in 1992 in Cape Town, the group has spread its wings across South Africa, Namibia, and now, Mauritius.




 

“Our vision is to be a restaurant that serves the most mouthwatering Italian-inspired meals made with love and the finest, freshest ingredients,” says Kinga Baranowska and Michael Terespolsky.

 

With artisanal wood-fired pizzas, sumptuous pastas, gourmet salads, and decadent desserts, it did not take long for the Col’Cacchio Pizzeria magic to spread far and wide. Col’Cacchio Pizzeria continues to bind its presence as one of the most innovative restaurant brands in South Africa with healthy-dining being a key focus of its offering. The brand is one of the first to introduce gluten-free, low-calorie, banting/carb-conscious, vegan alternatives and a cannabis offering to its menu.

 




To top off the 30th birthday celebrations, Col’Cacchio is introducing a brand new menu this summer. “It’s more than a menu. It’s a celebration. A journey. A story of thirty years in the making, of love, passion, adventure and loads of delicious pizza,” said Tashalene Reid, Col'Cacchio Restaurant CEO.
