Last week, I had the privilege of attending GAC Motor South Africa’s very first Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Day on 21 November 2024. It was an exclusive event that brought together some of the country’s top influencers for an unforgettable experience filled with scenic drives, beautiful stops, and an up-close look at GAC Motor’s impressive lineup of vehicles.

The day kicked off in Bryanston, where a convoy of GAC’s latest models waited, gleaming in the morning sun. As we hit the road, it was clear that this wasn’t just any test drive—it was a celebration of innovation and lifestyle. Behind the wheel of a GAC, I could feel the seamless power of its cutting-edge engineering while cruising through Johannesburg’s picturesque landscapes.
Our first stop was the charming Maggie’s Farm at Clay Café, a venue that perfectly blended rustic charm with vibrant energy. It was a haven for creativity, with influencers snapping content against its idyllic backdrop. Between sipping on artisanal drinks and chatting with fellow attendees, I couldn’t help but marvel at how perfectly GAC had curated this experience.

Together, the influencers present commanded a collective audience of over 5 million followers across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
